Software Engineer I, Backend

This role is based in Seattle with in-office collaboration required 1x per week.

Compensation:

$120,753—$211,318/year

Responsibilities:

• Build out the backend for Pinner-facing features.
• Contribute to the product development process from ideation to release.
• Partner with design and product teams to build end-to-end functionality.
• Employ automated testing to ensure high-quality features.
• Design and operate large scale distributed systems.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in backend tech stacks for RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Python, Java, C++, or Go.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
