This role is part of Pinterest’s Corporate Security team, collaborating with engineers to tackle complex security challenges.

Compensation:

$155,584—$320,320/year

Responsibilities:

  • Develop scripts and tools for vulnerability scanning and incident triage.
  • Consult on secure system design and conduct code reviews.
  • Advocate for secure coding practices and educate team members.
  • Collaborate with security engineers and IT for threat detection.
  • Leverage AI to enhance security processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 5+ years in corporate security or security-related software engineering.
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX, macOS, or Windows internals.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and systems security.
  • Strong critical evaluation skills and integrity in handling sensitive data.
