Senior Frontend Engineer, Community Builders

Reddit is seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our team. You'll be a key contributor to building and enhancing our products, developing features from end to end, and ensuring our systems are scalable, reliable, and serve community builder needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain user facing product features while ensuring performance, security, and scalability of our systems.
- Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, data scientists and other engineers to deliver high-quality products.
- Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Set and define standards that improve developer workflows, recommend best practices, and help coach and mentor engineers on the team.
- Continuously learn and improve your technical and non-technical abilities.
Who you might be:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or computer science-related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of software development experience in one or more front end focused programming languages; Javascript, Typescript, ES6
- Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks such as LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular with experience with CSS.
- Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift basics, and the ability to design and implement maintainable APIs is a plus.
- Ability to take end-to-end ownership of projects, from initial design to deployment and maintenance.
- A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial spirit. You are self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action in fast-paced environments.
