This role is based in New York with some flexibility to work from home.

Compensation:

$132,948 - 189,927/year plus equity

What you'll do:

  • Design and build backend services for podcast content ingestion and management.
  • Own and operate high-availability systems ensuring reliability and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Drive operational excellence through monitoring and automation.

Who you are:

  • Experience in building and maintaining backend services.
  • Proficient in Ruby or Java; Node.js experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases.
  • Familiar with high-availability systems and engineering best practices.
