This role is based in Toronto.
Compensation:
CA$135,200 - CA$202,800/year
What you'll do:
Scope, design, build, and maintain APIs and services for financial transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain large-scale systems handling money movement requests.
- Debug and resolve production issues across services.
- Mentor junior engineers and improve internal engineering standards.
Requirements:
- 2-10+ years of backend software engineering experience.
- Strong coding skills in any programming language.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale financial systems.
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
