Associate Fire Alarm Designer

This role is based in Austin, Texas.

What you'll do:

• Attend project meetings to ascertain the entire scope through the 30-60-90 process.
• Collaborate with various design trades to determine project scope.
• Produce fire alarm designs at the 90% mark for internal review.
• Model designs in Revit for visibility in the 3D model.

What you'll bring:

• Basic understanding of fire alarm components and low-voltage systems.
• Knowledge of fire safety codes (e.g., NFPA, IBC).
• AutoCAD experience preferred; ability to learn quickly is crucial.
• Skills in reading and producing floor plans and diagrams.
• Willingness to pursue certifications like NICET Level I or II in Fire Alarm Systems.
