Electrical Fabrication Designer

This role is based in Austin, Texas.

What you'll do:

• Perform design, drafting and 3D modeling using Revit for electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarm, Security, Telecomm, etc.
• Use National Electric Code to create designs in compliance with national codes.
• Interface and collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines.
• Create clash-free model with components to LOD400 and perform flythroughs for stakeholders.
• Interface with construction trades and perform regular field walks to review installation progress.

What you'll bring:

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical design.
• Preferred knowledge of REVIT MEP.
• Proficient with electrical system components.
• Experience designing commercial or industrial facilities.
• Associate Degree preferred in Computerized Drafting field, or equivalent experience.
