This internship is based in Austin, Texas and is expected to start around May 2026, continuing through the Summer term or into Fall 2026 if available.

What you'll do:

Support critical Cell Manufacturing development projects, develop structured and maintainable code, and interface equipment with Tesla production databases.

Responsibilities:

  • Review vendor electrical controls designs and ensure compliance with Tesla standards.
  • Collaborate with teams to validate PLC and HMI programs.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing features for industrial vision processing software.

What you'll bring:

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechatronics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of electrical control systems and software development.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and web development frameworks.
