Internship, Data Engineer, Applications Engineering (Summer 2026)

This internship is based in Fremont, California and is expected to last for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week).

Compensation:

$32.45 - $45.43/hour + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data and extract useful statistics to improve production quality and customer experience.
  • Conduct end-to-end analyses, from data requirement gathering to data processing and modeling.
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques.
  • Identify and interpret trends in complex data sets.
  • Maintain databases/data systems for operational and exploratory analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve data systems.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, graduating between 2026-2027.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, C/C++, Ruby, SQL, or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with database concepts such as MySQL, MS SQL.
  • Nice to have: AirFlow, Splunk, Kafka, Spark.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
