Internship, Software Integration Engineer, AI Platforms (Summer 2026)

This internship position is expected to start in May 2026 and continue through the summer term, requiring a minimum of 12 weeks full-time (40 hours/week) on-site.

Compensation:

$100000.00 - $150000.00 + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Write, debug, and maintain C/C++ software for Autopilot and humanoid robot software stack.
  • Integrate Autopilot features with user interfaces and vehicle systems.
  • Develop and iterate on new features through simulation and validation.
  • Optimize feature effectiveness while minimizing power consumption.
  • Bring up Autonomy features on new vehicle and compute platforms.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Physics, Computer Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in C/C++, multithreading, and Python; familiarity with CUDA or OpenCL is a plus.
  • Understanding of embedded systems architecture and real-time software design principles.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
  • Proficient in Linux-based software development.
