Software Engineer, Tooling, Self-Driving QA

This role is based in Palo Alto, California.

Compensation:

$140,000 - $300,000/year + cash and stock awards + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable event analysis pipelines to process millions of in-vehicle signals daily
• Develop internal analytics tools to monitor Autopilot performance and detect regressions
• Design and maintain dashboards for stability and performance metrics
• Collaborate with engineering teams to track stability regressions
• Create tools for automated validation cycles

Requirements:

• Solid coding skills in Python or C++
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Experience in tooling, automation, or backend development
• Strong understanding of SQL and telemetry analysis
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and data pipeline frameworks
