This role is based in San Jose, CA.

Compensation:

$244800 - $450000 annually

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of scalable commerce platform integrations across multiple domains, build highly scalable distributed systems, drive architecture decisions, provide hands-on technical leadership, and collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in backend or distributed systems
  • 2+ years as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead Manager
  • Proficiency in Java, Golang, Python, or similar languages
  • Experience with system design and high-availability distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with commerce ecosystems like Shopify or Salesforce
  • Experience building merchant-facing infrastructure
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows
